Meet James Heffernan, an entrepreneur who loves helping others. At just 8 years old, he started his first business selling penny candy. By 23, he owned a liquor store and later a convenience store. Now, he uses technology to reach more customers and meet their needs. Growing up as the sixth of eight kids in a small town north of Boston, I earned my Business Administration degree from the University of New Hampshire. My time on Semester at Sea opened my eyes to new cultures. I also studied IT Networking at Boston University, where I focused on helping others through education. I aim to give customers the skills they need to succeed on their own. I focus on doing work to improve lives and believe in giving back to my community. I appreciate everyone's uniqueness and want to make a positive. My strengths are resilience and determination. I see challenges as chances to learn and grow, which keeps me moving.
